Qondor release - Week 49 (2023)

8 December 2023

What's new in Qondor

Use clickable call-to-action texts for send offer links: You can now replace the send offer link to offers with clickable call-to-action texts, rather than having to display the previous standard URLs, to ensure a more professional look and tailored communication with customers. It also means a unified experience across Qondor for project managers. How to do this.

💡Superusers should consider updating the Send offer link in Office Settings —> Emails --> “Send offer” dialogue. Once updated, it will apply to all existing and new projects, including Project templates.

Qondor release - Week 43 (2023)

3 November 2023

What's new in Qondor

  • Add More Co-Project Managers Per Project. In Project settings, you are no longer limited to three project managers per projects.

  • For offices that use Teams, the "Team" drop-down menu has been moved from the Project Managers tab to the General tab to make it more clear that the Project Team does not affect the available Project Managers that can be assigned to the project.

  • More Merge Tag Improvements. We've expanded the use of merge tags within the Form Builder, making it easier to automate data input.

📌 You can now add merge tags from the following pages (available in the text editors):

    • Step main text

    • Sub step main text

    • Product description

    • Accommodation step (description and search intro)

    • Accommodation product description

      Payment main text

    • T&C main text

📌These sub-menus provide fields for entering the following type of information:

    • Office

    • Project

    • Project Manager

    • Customer

    • Form

  • Customer API: Added contact persons to Get and GetByExternalReferences. The Customer API now has a contactPerson object. For customers using Qondor as their master for customer data, it was previously not possible to identify the contact persons connected to a customer, but now, you can access this information through our API. More information about the API Portal can be found here.

  • Added a Reorder button to Participant Custom Fields for a consistent user experience across Qondor.

Qondor release - Week 38 (2023)

21 September 2023

What's new in Qondor

  • Customer offer invoicing: When creating a customer offer invoice in Qondor, any product price changes will be validated. Project managers will receive alerts if there's a change during invoice creation, both in 'Create' and 'Preview' invoice specifications. This ensures no invoices are created while prices are being adjusted, whether in a different tab or by another Project manager, allowing timely interventions before finalizing the invoice.

  • Merge Tags (enabling automatic input of information): Form Merge Tags are now available to use in the Participants module, including form registration deadlines. Also, all text editors in Qondor now have the Participant merge tags available to use, and 'Participant category' has been added to this menu. These can now be inputted in form invitations, emails or SMS! For a complete list of merge tags, click here.

What's new in Forms

  • Forms: The 'Send email to booker' option on the summary page and the Elma/Peppol search for organizations now feature a mandatory red marking. This helps Project managers and bookers easily identify required fields.

  • Improved German translations: A top-rated IT translator has refined the German translations in Qondor for accuracy. This will provide a better experience for German speakers. So far, 138 out of 485 texts have been updated, with more improvements on the way.

Qondor release - Week 33 (2023)

23 August 2023

What's new in Qondor

  • All new projects (from scratch, template or copy), will have all Offers, Programs and Forms unpublished allowing the Project manager to determine the published status.

  • When a Project manager publishes the Form, the project will be automatically set to "confirmed" so there is no need to manually confirm the project in Project Ledger anymore.

  • Form alternatives and transport/flight segments are now available in their own slide-in window in Form builder so that it is easier and quicker for Project managers to add these!

  • Override price per category and Override who is paying has been added to the Pricing slide-in window in Form builder.

  • Products are now sorted in the same order as displayed in Form Builder, rather than alphabetically (as done previously), making it easier to refer to and work with. This applies to both products and accommodation.

  • It is now easier to determine which products are choose-between products, as any of these products start with the choose between heading.

  • Form Accommodation: If an Accommodation step has approved bookings, the "Enable manual name reporting for single bookings:" setting will be locked to prevent scenarios where you have bookings registered with both regular and manual name reporting. This way, your Lists will always have a valid set of names and avoid missing names.

  • Accommodation step "name reporting" will always be mandatory unless the "deadline for name reporting" date is set to the future.
📌A "Deadline for name reporting" can now be entered directly in Form Builder's deadlines slide-in window if one of the following rules applies:
    1. Manual name reporting for single bookings is enabled on an accommodation step.
    2. The project manager has enabled multi booking" and anonymous multi booking.

Payment overview improved:

The Overview / Payment Overview section displays products consistently with the Form Summary page on "View booking" and "Booking confirmation". This has been improved to prevent confusion and make it easy for bookers to understand which products have been booked - with or without payment.

Credit card refunds:

Failed credit card refunds are now listed in Booking invoicing so that it is easy to spot if a refund has failed.

What else is new

Alt+s (Keyboard shortcut to save) no longer scrolls to the bottom of the view, making it smoother to make changes quickly.

Qondor release - Week 27 (2023)

7 June 2023

What's new

  • Simplified right-click menu in text editors: In all text editors, we removed the custom right-click menu. Now, the browser default right click menu offers a simple and quick way to either paste or "paste as text", requiring just a single click to complete the action instead of two steps. You can also quickly add emojis and enable a spell checker for engaging and error-free content.

💡Pro tip: Use ctrl+shift+v to "paste as text" directly.

  • Consistent ordering of custom fields and products in Lists: Custom fields and Products in the "fields" tab in Lists are now presented in the same order as they appear in the form, ensuring consistency and for easier referencing.

  • Option to deactivate Teams: It is now possible to deactivate Teams to hide Teams that are no longer in use. This means that deactivated Teams will not show up on New projects so Project managers cannot select them and neither can users be assigned to these teams.

  • Improved email subject for cancelled bookings: The default email subject for cancelling bookings now matches the Booking confirmation email subject, with the "Cancelled" Prefix. This makes it easier to refer to and find corresponding emails.

Qondor release - Week 21 (2023)

29 May 2023

What's new

Qondor release - Week 19 (2023)

11 May 2023

What's new

Offer terms & conditions in text - We have improved the presentation of Offer terms and conditions to your customers. Now, the terms and conditions are included in the Offer confirmation PDF instead of being sent as a separate document. This makes it easier for customers to view the terms and conditions as the contract agreement and agreed products are in the same place.

📌 Please note that uploaded files and product terms and conditions remain unaffected by this change.

*new* Supplier API

A new Supplier API is available which allows for easier synchronisation of suppliers and better reporting! Learn more about the Supplier API here.

Supplier changes: The supplier "Chain/brand" field has been renamed to "Chain" and a new "Brand" field has been added. This provides more granular data leading to easier analysis and better reporting! 💡If you have any brands specified in the Chain field, we recommend moving this to the Brand field for more accurate reporting.

Qondor release - Week 17 (2023)

2 May 2023

What's new

Suppliers - adding suppliers to products just got easier.

Now you can add a supplier to a product instead of having to add it to the project first:

  • Project managers will no longer receive blind copies of emails manually sent to participants in Qondor (this includes bookers). View an overview of emails sent from Qondor.

    Form

  • Participant custom field drop-down options can no longer be duplicated. This prevents duplicates from being added by mistake and ensures a smoother Excel import/export process (as Excel does not accept duplicate column headers). ❗Existing duplicates will not be rectified and can be cleaned up by users, as long as participants are not connected to them.

  • As a Super administrator, you can now use the Participant search in all offices you have access to without having to swap offices in your user profile.

  • As a Super administrator, you can now access forms in projects outside your own office without being logged out.

  • The Form accommodation step name that bookers see now matches the step name set by the Project manager in Admin web.

  • The form accommodation search button has been translated correctly to read "Search" in all languages. Create an accommodation product.

    Invoicing

  • If the project is pending, a customer offer / form invoice specification cannot be created. This is to prevent errors where invoices were created for pending projects, not confirmed, and caused errors in integrations with accounting systems.

Useful for those with integrations: A project status filter has been added to the Project API's GetAll operation, making it possible to return only projects with a certain status(es).

Bug fix 🪲The Booking API now filters out bookings that belonged to deleted projects.
