Qondor mobile camera check-in allows project managers and external staff to scan QR codes using just your mobile phone, eliminating the need for technical equipment such as computers or scanners. Everything you need to ensure a successful check-in and satisfied attendees - is right in your pocket!

HOW DOES MOBILE CHECK-IN WORKΒ

πŸ“± Log in into Qondor on your mobile phone using the check-in URL found in the Check-in points page:

πŸ–±οΈ Click on the relevant check-in point.

πŸ“· Click the camera button (the browser will ask for access to your camera - click allow!)

βœ… Start scanning and keep on scanning.

SEARCH FOR AN ATTENDEE AND CHECK-IN

If an attendee can't find their QR code, you can search for their name and check them in in one click.

Simply click the tick icon next to the attendee's name, as shown below. The green tick indicates a checked-in attendee.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Qondor Check-in is compatible with the two latest versions of both Android and iOS operating systems.

  • If you use SSO (Microsoft Entra ID) to log in to Qondor, your mobile device must be authenticated with the same credentials to access mobile check-in.

  • In order to scan QR codes you need to grant the web browser access to the camera.Β

  • Qondor Check-in requires that you use Safari in iOS and Chrome in Android.

  • We also recommend using an iPhone where possible for the best experience. If non-personal devices are available, these are also a good option.

πŸ’‘ BEST PRACTICES AND TIPS

  • If participants have their QR codes on a phone with dark mode enabled, both mobile scanning and handheld scanners may perform less effectively. We recommend that participants disable dark mode or, alternatively, that you register them manually.

  • Switch off all mobile phone notifications and have your phone on do not disturb to avoid the check-in service being interrupted.

  • 4G has better coverage than WI-FI (atleast in the Nordics) for arenas, venues, hotels, etc.

  • Ensure you have QR-code scanners, a laptop, and additional personnel on standby to assist in case of any glitches or unforeseen issues with mobile check-in.

  • If you encounter issues scanning a QR code, try the following adjustments:

    • Increase the screen brightness on the participant's mobile phone.

    • Refresh the webpage on the scanner's mobile phone.
