Adding time to an offer

This article explains how to add logged time as an offer line, so you can include time-based costs when building an offer for your customer.

Written by Nitu Kaur Sabbharwal

When you add time to an offer, the time appears as an offer line. This lets you include hours logged on a project directly in the offer, making it transparent and easy to bill customers for time spent.

Add time to an Offer

  1. Open the project and go to the Offer section.

  2. Select the Time icon (found near the bottom of the page).

  3. Select the time entries you want to include, and click Add.

💡If you have several time entries and they are not displayed, use the search bar to find them.

  4. The selected time is added as an offer line, showing the hours and amount.

📌 Good to know:

  • Time added to an offer is shown as a regular offer line. You can edit the description, quantity, and price just like any other offer line.

  • You need to have time logged on the project before you can add it to an offer. See Logging your time for how to log time on a project

Display running hours

When you add time to an offer, the final total can change as more time is logged throughout the project. Qondor can display a message explaining that the total updates automatically as time is logged.

The message appears at the bottom of the time-tracking group in both the Customer web offer and Offer confirmation PDF:

Offer confirmation pdf

The message is only shown when:

✅Time has been added to the offer as an offer line.

Time shown on offer in Project settings is set to Logged time.

📌 Note: Budgeted hours remain unchanged, and any notes you’ve added will still be displayed.
