🚩 This article briefly describes features in a closed beta in the Project Ledger.

A SMARTER WAY TO TRACK PROJECT FINANCES

The new Project Ledger gives you a more structured and transparent overview of key financial figures like sales, costs, revenue, and commissions. Data is now organised into clearer categories, making it easy to see what has been confirmed, what is pending, and how your project is performing at a glance.

By separating outstanding amounts (pending), confirmed revenue, commissions, and displaying a total revenue, you get a real-time, reliable foundation for decision-making - helping you manage projects with confidence and efficiency.

WHAT’S NEW IN THE PROJECT LEDGER?

πŸš€ The new Project Ledger introduces:

  • Pending and Confirmed columns for better tracking of financial status.

  • Commission tracking, grouped per supplier across all offers in a project.

  • Total revenue overview, giving a clearer picture of financial performance.

Pending and Confimed numbers

Instead of relying on a forecasted percentage of sales, you now see exactly:

⏳ What is pending – potential revenue that is not yet secured.

βœ… What is confirmed – revenue that is secured and finalised.

This eliminates guesswork, making it easier to track real income, manage expectations, and make informed decisions based on actual numbers rather than estimates.

The Pending column calculation only includes products:

  • From the main offer

  • With an undecided product status (answer not set or "Maybe")

  • With a price published on Customer web

  • Where the customer is paying (as offered)

The Confirmed column calculation only includes products:

  • The product is confirmed

  • With a price published on Customer web

  • Where the customer is paying (as offered)

Commissions

The Project Ledger now includes pending and confirmed commissions, grouped per supplier across all offers within the project. In edit mode, you can manually input your actual commissions when financially closing the project.

You can also report on commission income not linked to a specific supplier using the [No supplier set] input.

Total revenue

The new Total Revenue section provides a complete overview of all revenue streams, helping you track your project's overall financial performance more efficiently.

NEXT UP

With a cleaner, more structured layout, the new Project Ledger helps you track financials with ease. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue refining this feature! πŸš€
