In Qondor, “Estimated Numbers” are used to help you forecast revenue and track financial progress in both Reports and the Project Ledger.

These figures give you a forward-looking view of potential sales, based on the products and services in your project and their status.

The calculation for estimated numbers depends on the Project Stage. This means that knowing how these calculations work is essential for accurate forecasting and decision-making.

In this article, we’ll break down:

  • The key factors that influence estimated numbers.

  • How calculations differ for Pending, Confirmed, and Cancelled projects.

  • Real-life examples so you can see the logic in action.

💡 Tip: The Project Stage has a big impact on your estimated numbers. For more details on using project stages, read our dedicated article: Project Stages for financial forecasting.

Key Rules for Estimated Numbers

Before diving into each project type, here are some general rules that apply to all calculations:

  • Undecided products
Products with offer status "unsure" or "not set" are considered undecided.

  • Form-activated products
Only products marked as "paid by customer as offered" are included in the estimated numbers.

  • Exclusions

    • Deposit payments are not included.

    • Unpublished products are excluded unless their offer status is "Yes".

    • Products with a hidden price table are excluded, including any products within a group where the price table is hidden.

PENDING PROJECTS

Calculation:

(Total value of confirmed offer products from all offers on the project)
+
(Total value of undecided products (unsure and not set) on Main offer * Project stage from Project ledger)
+
(Estimated adjustments if added in the Project Ledger)

Real example from a project:

Project Stage from Project Ledger: Pending, 20% Approach

Total value of confirmed offer products: EUR 0

+
Total value of undecided products: EUR 52 984 * 20% = EUR 10 597

=
Estimated sales in this project is now: EUR 10 597

In the Offer Admin:

In Qondor BI Essentials:

CONFIRMED PROJECTS

Calculation:

Total value of confirmed offer products from all offers on the project
+
Total value of undecided products (maybe and not answered) on Main offer * Office default product stage (set by your Office administrator)
+
Estimated adjustments if added in the Project Ledger

Real example from a project:
Default project stage for undecided products in confirmed projects: 70% Closing

Total value of confirmed offer products: EUR 49 964

+
Total value of undecided products: EUR 3 710 * 70% = EUR 2 597

=
Estimated sales in this project is now EUR 52 561

Pro Tip!
If the figures that you see in the Project Ledger or in your Qondor BI Essentials report don't align with what you are seeing in your Offer Admin for a project, use the Offer Filters to ensure that you are including the relevant product lines.

CANCELLED PROJECTS

Estimated sales and Estimated revenue will be set to Real sales and Real revenue for projects that are cancelled, allowing you to report on numbers on cancelled projects.
