Projects created in Qondor are automatically registered in Travel Operations. This article walks you through how the integration works, what happens behind the scenes, and how to troubleshoot any issues.
HOW IT WORKS
Creating a new project with the integration
When a Project Manager (PM) creates a new project in Qondor for an office where the Travel Operations integration is active:
Qondor sends key project data to Travel Operations:
Project name
Start date
Customer number
Project Manager’s email address
Travel Operations returns a project event number, which becomes the official project number in Qondor.
If the integration fails (for example, due to an invalid customer number), Qondor will still create the project but assign a temporary number.
To protect your workflow, Qondor doesn’t block project creation if the sync to Travel Operations fails. This approach keeps you moving forward, even if Travel Operations is temporarily down.
After a project is successfully created with the integration, no further updates are sent to Travel Operations.
USER EXPERIENCE IN QONDOR
On successful integration
When the integration is working correctly:
The event is created in Travel Operations immediately.
The official project number is auto-filled.
The project behaves like any standard Qondor project.
It takes a couple of seconds for the integration to update the project number in Qondor, so you might need to refresh your view to see the updated project number.
