PROJECT MANAGEMENT

OFFER ADMIN

FORM BOOKINGS

DATE PICKERS ALLOW PROJECT MANAGERS TO SET PAST DATES

In Qondor, Project managers can now select dates in the past where there are date pickers available. Project managers can go back 9 years, (and the next 10 years) from the date selected or today's date, in the drop down menu.

Example from Project settings:

Where in Qondor you may want to select a date in the past:

  • New Project: When creating a new project, the start and end date can be set to a date in the past.

  • Task sidebar view

Why is this useful?

Project managers can now add projects which took place in the past for reporting purposes.

GO BACK TO OFFER ADMIN FROM PRODUCTS WITHOUT LOSING SELECTED FILTERS

Navigating back to Offer admin from a product removed filters, for example selected products or products with specific statuses. This could be frustrating for Project managers who want to keep the same view when working with offers.

When clicking the breadcrumb on a product page to go back to the offer, the selected filters will still be selected for the Project manager.

Selected filters remain ↙️

FORM BOOKINGS SHOW WHO HAS MADE CHANGES TO KEEP BETTER TRACK

When changes were made to a booker, the current booking contact person was incorrectly displayed as the person who had made all changes in a booking. This caused confusion when tracing the booking history in Booking details --> Booking history.

If Project managers made a change to a booking, their full names were displayed to the booker.

What's improved?

If the booker makes a change to the booking, 'Booker' will be shown in the booking to distinguish who has made the change.
The Project manager will no longer be shown, instead the Office name is shown so that the Project manager names are not exposed to bookers.

💡 As a Project Manager you can still view which one of your colleagues made the changes in booking details.

ALLOW CHANGES FOR BOOKERS AFTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE

When setting a “Deadline for new bookings” it is no longer restricted by the “Deadline for changes by booker” setting and vice versa.

The date input field for "allow changes by booker" is now hidden unless the setting is activated.

The following fields have been renamed to make its purpose clearer for Project managers:

  • “Deadline for registration” is now ➡️ “Deadline for new bookings”

  • “Deadline for change” is now ➡️ “Deadline for changes by booker”

Why?

The Project manager spends unnecessary time making booking changes that participants or customer contacts could do themselves. This should be easily available to save costs of requesting changes.

The previous method in order to make changes was to change the deadline for registration. However, it is often not feasible as the event may be fully booked or it is not possible to register after a certain deadline. Project managers want to ensure reasonable control over the number of attendees. Opening up the deadline for registration previously ran the risk of unanticipated registrations.
