QONDOR ADMIN

FORM IMPROVEMENTS

USERS WHO LOG OUT OF QONDOR WILL NOT BE ASKED FOR A CODE WITHIN 30 DAYS IF "TRUST THIS DEVICE..." IS ENABLED

If users log out of Qondor but have enabled a trusted device, they will not be asked for a code within 30 days.

To avoid inputting a code after logging out of Qondor, check "trust this device":

Why?

We recently implemented a stricter logout logic that removed the authentication cookie on the device; this meant users were forced to input MFA login codes on devices every time they logged out. This change was frustrating for Project managers having to log in and out on the same device.

EASIER TO FIND WHERE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAN BE ADDED IN FORM BUILDER

Terms and conditions has been moved into its own subpage of the Summary step in the left menu pane of Form builder. When disabled, it will be indicated in the menu (disabled).

Before

After

Why?

Terms and conditions were placed inside the Summary step in Form builder and Project managers struggled to find it.

Now it is much easier for Project managers to find where to add terms and conditions if needed.

THE DEFAULT HEADING ON THE PERSONAL DETAILS STEP IS NOW THE SAME NAME

The default heading for the Personal details step is now "Personal details". The previous heading was "Registration".

Before

After

Why?

In the previous release, the text "Please provide your personal details" was removed. Following that change, the product team adjusted the default text on the Personal details step to ensure Qondor's default/suggested heading is understandable and more suitable.

๐Ÿ“ŒThe heading has been translated in all languages and is defined by the Participant web language on the project (defined in Project settings).

NORWAY VAT NUMBER IS NOW VALIDATED IN FORMS AND IS INCLUDED IN ELMA

1. Norway has been added to the VAT number validation list so that we can ensure data quality in VAT numbers collected from bookers. We now have a total of 30 countries in our VAT number validation. Read more about VAT validation here.

2. By adding VAT number validation to ELMA*, Norwegian customers (bookers) who use the VAT number field can now have it autofilled. Organisation number or VAT number will be autocompleted by ELMA depending on whether they are published in the form or not.

*ELMA: Norwegian register for electronic invoicing/EHF documents in Norway.

Why?

Data collection and quality is one of the core features in Form. You can collect texts, date of birth, countries, post codes and so on. Improving the data quality requirements for VAT number makes collecting data more effective.

In addition, by adding VAT number to ELMA, it is also easier and faster for bookers to complete company information on the payment step.

"ADD MORE ROOMS" BUTTON WILL NO LONGER BE SHOWN IF MORE ROOMS CANNOT BE BOOKED

The "add more rooms" button will now only be visible when the booker is able to add more nights to their booking, when booking an accommodation product.

Before

After

Why?

Previously, this button would be available despite the maximum number of nights being booked which was misleading for bookers.

THE BOOKER IS NOW LISTED AS "PERSON 1" ON A MULTIBOOKING

If a booker adds additional persons to a form booking, the booker will be listed as "person 1" - their first and last name will be displayed in a separate section at the top of the page.

Why?

In multibookings, when the booker has filled out the personal details step, and then proceeds to add any additional persons, Qondor had a misleading prefix to the first additional person: "Person 1". This caused confusion among both Project managers and bookers, who wondered whether the booker's details had disappeared. It is now clear that the booker is included in the booking as well.
