FILTER ON TEMPLATES AND SEARCH FOR PROJECTS WITH SUPPLIERS IN PROJECT SEARCH

What's new?

A new button to show template projects has been added to Project search, as well as a new Supplier filter which can be used to view projects connected to a specific supplier.

When you click the button Show templates, only template projects will be shown.

📌 All Project managers can see templates from Project search, but only Office admins and Super admins have access to edit template projects.

The Supplier filter allows you to search for projects connected to a specific supplier, chain/brand.

📌 The supplier filter will only appear if you use or switch to "advanced mode" in Project search and your office has the Suppliers module activated.

To complement the new supplier filter, a button to view all projects for a specific supplier has been added to supplier profiles. Click this button in any profile, and it will redirect you to project search with the relevant supplier selected and all projects the supplier is connected to.

What's in it for me?

  • It is easier to search for templates.

  • Customers handling suppliers in Qondor can easily identify which projects a specific supplier has been used on. This is useful, for instance, if the supplier can no longer provide their products/services. Project managers can identify the affected projects and take appropriate action to inform customers and allocate new suppliers to the projects.

Previously, there was no way to identify which projects a supplier was connected to, and unnecessary resources were being used by Project managers and management in order to keep manual overviews and reporting on this. The Covid-19 pandemic has strengthened the need for a supplier overview as the risk of suppliers failing to deliver unfortunately increases.

OFFERS

AUTOMATIC CREATION OF TASK TO FOLLOW UP ON A SENT OFFER

What's new?

The send offer dialog now contains an option to create a task to follow up on the offer that is being sent. Checking the checkbox for Create reminder task with due date will ensure a follow up task is created once the offer is sent. Project managers can select which date to receive the email reminder on from here.

📌 The reminder will be received along with any other tasks due on that date.

What's in it for me?

We recognise that following up on sent offers is an essential task and crucial stage of your sales process. Therefore, we wanted to make it easier for Project managers to create this task without having to go into Tasks directly. Having the capability to create tasks from this step will encourage Project managers to make this a natural step in the sales process.

MERGE TAGS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO ALL TEXT EDITORS

What's new?

In week 9's release, we added merge tags to Offer terms & conditions to allow customer information to be automatically filled in. We have now added merge tags to all text editors in Offers. You can select a merge tag from a dropdown in any text editor on Offers. These can be used to merge information obtained from the Office, the project and the offer.

Below is an example from Customer Web Frontpage where the merge tags are being used to display the customer name and organisation number.

What's in it for me?

Previously merge tags were only available on few text editors. Adding this feature to all text editors means:

  • Project managers get greater flexibility as to where the customer information should be placed in the offer and in the offer pdf confirmation.

  • Project managers and your customers will also get the benefit of personalised offers.

COMMENT TERM CHANGED TO FEEDBACK IN OFFER ADMIN

We have changed the term "comment" to feedback in Offer admin. This makes more sense as the feature is used to obtain and view feedback from the customer.

ADD VIDEOS TO A FORM FRONT PAGE FOR ENGAGING LANDING PAGES

What's new?

Video has made its way to form front pages! It is now possible to embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo via a simple copy and paste of a link.

What's in it for me?

If a picture says more than a thousand words, you can only imagine what a video does!

  • Being able to present videos makes landing pages more engaging and stand out.

  • Your customers will love this new feature, especially if they already have video material they want to display to sell their events, get bookings and so on.

  • It saves time in providing information that may have otherwise be presented in the form of pictures and text.

HIDE THE 'HOME' BUTTON AND DEFINE YOUR OWN BUTTON AND LINK

What's new?

A "hide home button" feature has been added to Form settings --> Design tab.

Why?

When creating a form, you should have greater flexibility with the form navigation menu. The home button was previously a default menu item; it sends bookers back to the first step of the form.

It is now possible to remove the home button by checking the "hide home button" and defining your own menu. You can instead use menu items to create your own "Home" button by choosing the "link" type and inserting the desired link.

What's in it for me?

This is useful in the case where bookers are directed to Qondor forms from separate websites. We have some customers who insert links to a Qondor form on their company website, bookers are then directed to the form and they complete their booking. But how do they get back to the website they came from? By hiding the home button and creating your own with a link to the website, you can create a smooth navigation and redirect bookers back to the page they entered the form.
