CHANGES TO PROJECT TERMS TO SUIT MORE SCENARIOS

WHAT'S CHANGED?

📌 Destination is now ➡ LOCATION

Location is the field used to specify where the project is taking place. This can be found used across the Project and Offers module and will replace destination in all areas, including Customer web.

📌 On your Qondor homepage, under the My Projects tab, Qondor displays a list of projects sorted into category status. The following terms have changed:

Travelling is now ➡ ONGOING

A sub-status to Confirmed, automatically set upon start date.
Ongoing projects can also be searched for and accessed in Project search:

Returned is now ➡ TO BE FINALISED

A sub-status to Confirmed, automatically set on the day after return date.

📌 On Project details and Project Ledger, the following text will now be displayed:

Number of persons:  Location: Start date: End date:

Previously, the text displayed:  x persons going to *location* Start date: End date:

WHY THE CHANGE?

Location is more universal, and makes sense for different scenarios as destination was mostly suited to trips and travelling.

Your projects can span across a range of scenarios as you may have different customers with different needs. Ongoing and to be finalised have been defined in Qondor to suit various projects and scenarios. This ensures a better understanding of which stage the project is at, so that you can keep track and know when to take action.

Being able to view Number of persons and Location makes it easier to identify key information. This update will also hopefully assist new users to understand the terms better.

PROJECT MANAGER INITIALS ARE NOW MANDATORY

When creating a new user or editing an existing user, Qondor will require the Project manager's initials to be completed. Previously, this was optional.

This is to ensure that all places in Qondor which display Project manager initials are not missing this information. Project manager initials help other users in your office to identify the Project manager of a project. For instance, in Project search:
