Overview of all emails and SMS from each Qondor project in one place

The Communication Center is a log of all communications, i.e. any outgoing emails and SMS sent from Qondor. Project managers can use this to reference communications, check who emails or SMS were sent to, and check the current statuses of outgoing emails and SMS. Each project has its own log, making it easy to keep track and filter through all emails and SMS related to the specific project. 




WHERE TO FIND THE COMMUNICATION CENTER

The Communication Center can be accessed through the Projects tab.

HOW IS IT USEFUL?


VIEW SPECIFIC DETAILS OF EACH OUTGOING COMMUNICATION

Project managers can filter their view by type and date. Choose to view emails, SMS or both, sent on the present day, the last seven days, last thirty days or all. 

Simply click on the filters to customize your view and retrace your communications easily. You can also view the number of messages sent.


KNOW WHEN MESSAGE DELIVERY HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL OR HAS FAILED

A green tick indicates that an email or SMS has been successfully delivered. A red cross indicates that it has failed.

Sometimes, emails or SMS may fail due to other external factors outside of Qondor. 

If a SMS fails then the project manager can click the preview button, where an error message will appear providing the reason for the error. For example, here the mobile number is not valid. 

Good to know: Avoid using URL shorteners such as bit.ly when sending links within your SMS as some phone providers may interpret these messages as malicious, therefore blacklisting the Qondor sender and preventing the message from being delivered.

N.B: If your office has not purchased a SMS package, then you will not be able to send SMS. SMS are really handy when you need to deliver an instant or urgent message. Considering the SMS feature? Learn more about it here.

It may also be that Qondor shows an email as delivered, but the customer may not have received the email. Here Project managers can ask their recipient to check their email spam/junk folder. If this is the case, then it is a good idea to ask recipients to verify the sender email address as a safe sender.

VIEW A COPY OF YOUR OUTGOING MESSAGE

You can view the full details of your message by clicking the eye icon on the right hand side. If you have sent a bulk email, all recipients can be viewed here.

Any attachments sent in an email or SMS can be downloaded directly from the Communication Center. Click the 👁 icon to open the email and click to download the attachments. 

Project managers can also view, copy or click on the offer link from here. This is really useful if Project managers needs to send the offer from their own email inbox.
